Joshua D. Friedman, Barry A. Friedman’s son, was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September 2008.
Mr. Friedman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Alabama in 2003. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2008 from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law where, in addition to his regular schooling, he successfully completed 20 hours of mediation training and fulfilled the necessary coursework to receive his mediation certificate.
Mr. Friedman also served as Public Relations Chair for Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity while in school. In addition to being admitted to the Alabama State Bar, Mr. Friedman was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Alabama in 2008 as well.
Mr. Friedman was also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Alabama in 2008.
Mr. Friedman is an active member of the Mobile, Alabama, and American Bar Associations, and is also a member of the Young Lawyers Sections in those Associations. Mr. Friedman has sat on the Mobile Bar Association, Young Lawyers Executive Committee for the last three (3) consecutive yearly terms.
He has served in the past as Treasurer, and most recently, Mr. Friedman was elected as Vice-President of the Mobile Bar Association, Young Lawyers Committee. Mr. Friedman also sat as Chair to the Mobile Bar Association, Entertainment Committee for the 2010-2011 term.
