Josh Hamilton wanted to be a criminal defense attorney from an early age and he began working with Clay Hernandez immediately after graduating from law school in New York City.
Josh decided to leave New York and start working with Clay because he felt there was no better way to develop his skills as a defense attorney than to learn from one of the best in the business.
Since moving back to Tucson in 2010, Josh has developed into a skilled defense attorney in his own right, successfully arguing cases before the Arizona Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, including a high-profile case that dismantled the abusive police practice of forcing suspects to submit to warrantless searches following arrest.
Josh is an integral part of a dedicated criminal defense team whose devotion and determination to protect the accused has led to successful outcomes in countless cases across the State of Arizona and the Southwest region of the United States.
Josh is a proud Tucsonan and alumnus of the University of Arizona. He takes his role as a criminal defense attorney as seriously as life and death.
He is committed to helping those in need and volunteers his time and experience to protect juveniles in need of representation at the Pima County Juvenile Court.
