Joshua A. Faucette is a Litigation & Dispute Resolution associate in Mayer Brown’s Chicago office. Josh’s practice focuses primarily on antitrust and competition, white collar defense and compliance, and product liability and mass torts.
While the majority of Josh’s time is devoted to assisting corporate clients with complex antitrust and competition litigation, he has experience in a wide variety of practice areas including internal and government investigations, complex commercial litigation, securities litigation and enforcement, and e-discovery.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Josh worked in the Governor of Illinois’ General Counsel’s Office where he advised Governor Pat Quinn, members of his administration, and State agencies on a wide variety of complex constitutional, statutory, regulatory, and legislative issues.
Specifically, Josh worked closely with other Governor’s Office legal counsel to manage litigation and regulatory proceedings involving the Governor, State of Illinois, or State agencies. Josh also gained extensive experience with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, the Illinois Campaign Finance Reform Task Force, and issues pertaining to executive clemency and power.
Josh graduated summa cum laude from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2010 where he served on the Executive Editorial Board of the Valparaiso University Law Review and as the Executive Editor of the Law Review’s Lectures and Symposium Issue. He graduated magna cum laude from High Point University in 2007 with double degrees in Accounting and Business Administration.
