Joshua Versoza is an Associate Attorney with the Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, with admission pending for the Federal Court of the Southern District of New York. He is also an active member of the Filipino American Lawyers’ Association of New York, and the Asian American Bar Association.
Mr. Versoza prides himself on communication and efficiency in the litigation of his cases. Effective implementation of these two ingredient not only results in satisfied clients, but in fair and expeditious resolution of cases.
You can find Mr. Versoza in courthouses of the five boroughs of NYC, vigorously litigating cases in his client’s best interests, poking holes in the defenses of our adversaries at depositions, or settling cases for their top dollar by negotiating with some of the most tight-fisted insurance companies this side of the Atlantic.
Many of his clients have suffered traumatic injuries, whether they be behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, as a passenger on a New York City bus, or while walking on a city sidewalk. It is Mr. Versoza’s personal goal to obtain a fair result that places his clients in the best possible position moving forward.
Mr. Versoza is a graduate of New York Law School. In law school, he was the recipient of the E. Donald Shapiro scholarship, and was also a recipient of the New York City Lawyers’ Association Award for Pro Bono Service for his commitment to assisting with the legal needs of those unable to afford legal counsel.
He spent two summers interning for the New York City Transit Authority. This provided Mr. Versoza with some important insight relating to defense strategies, which informs how he approaches cases to this very day.
