Juliana Zach
Juliana Zach, is a former Assistant State Attorney who currently practices law in the Greater Danbury area, Connecticut and in Orlando, Florida. She provides legal services primarily in the areas of immigration, criminal and family law. She practices US federal Immigration law nationwide. Her immigration practice is open to clients from all 50 US States and to clients from abroad.
Mrs. Zach is the editorial writer for the newspaper Comunidade News, which circulates in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. This newspaper is an excellent source of information to the entire Brazilian community in the tri-state area, as well as to the Spanish speaking communities in the northeast. Mrs. Zach maintains a bi-weekly page on the paper that provides her readers with updated information on all immigration rights and issues that affect said communities.
Juliana Zach holds two Juris Doctor Degrees; one from The Catholic University of Pernambuco (Recife, Brazil) and the other from Florida A&M University College of Law (Orlando, Florida). She is admitted to practice law in both Florida and Connecticut. Mrs. Zach also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Florida Metropolitan University.
Mrs. Zach started her career as an attorney in Brazil. She attended law school in Recife, Brazil. During her law school in Brazil, Mrs. Zach clerked for the Honorable Judge Antonio Fernando de Araujo Martins. She also attained experience in employment law by working in the private sector. From her early experiences, she learned the importance of excellent customer service, which she still carries up until this date. Upon graduation in Brazil, she passed the Brazilian bar exam and continued practicing employment law in the private sector.
Once Mrs. Zach immigrated to the U.S., she obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Human Resources. During that time, Mrs. Zach honed her leadership and managerial skills that are essential to any business, including the management of a law firm.
Later on, Mrs. Zach was accepted into law school at Florida A&M College of Law in Orlando, Florida. During law school in Florida, Mrs. Zach gained experience outside of the classroom while interning for Department of Homeland Security in Orlando. In that position, Mrs. Zach assisted immigration (ICE) prosecutors in all phases of removal proceeding cases, in particularly Asylum cases.
After graduation from law school, Mrs. Zach was offered a position as Assistant State Attorney for the Seminole County State Attorney’s Office. She started as a misdemeanor prosecutor and was quickly promoted to a position as a felony prosecutor based on her incredible and reliable trial victories. During her time with the State’s Attorney Office, she handled thousands cases such as DUI, drug possession charges, domestic violence, driving without a license, batteries, assault, robbery, theft, resisting officers, among others.
Attorney Zach left the State Attorney’s office to pursue criminal defense, family and immigration law in the State of Connecticut. With her experience as a former Assistant State Attorney, she has an inside knowledge of the prosecution’s approach, which enables her to better defend her clients. Mrs. Zach is a seasoned criminal defense attorney who uses her education and past experiences to protect the rights of her clients in order to bring about the most optimum case results.
