Justin Kasmir

Justin Kasmir is an associate in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Asbestos Litigation and Products Liability Practices. Mr. Kasmir has extensive experience litigating New York City Asbestos Litigation (NYCAL), as well as other asbestos and product liability suits in other New York jurisdictions and federal court. In practice, Mr. Kasmir seeks a detailed understanding of complex issues.

Through diligent research and case preparation, he has successfully represented his clients in a variety of unique and novel litigation issues. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kasmir spent eight years aggressively representing corporate clients in asbestos litigation in New York.

He is an active member of the NYCAL defense bar and has served on numerous committees, including one to amend the Case Management Order governing the litigation. Mr. Kasmir also has experience in discrimination and pharmaceutical liability law. At his prior firm, he supervised new associates and support staff and drafted training manuals for NYCAL practice.
