Justin Smith received his undergraduate degree from the University of West Alabama in 1999, and he earned his J.D. from the Mississippi College School of Law in 2003, cum laude, graduating in the top 10 percent of his class.
Justin was awarded an academic scholarship by the Mississippi College School of Law based on his superior academic performance. He was Executive Editor of the Mississippi College Law Review, recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Remedies and a member of the Honor Court.
Justin has been a trial lawyer since his graduation from law school in 2003. In just over 13 years of experience, Justin has been remarkably successful.
He represents clients in state and federal courts in Alabama and Mississippi. Although Justin handles cases throughout the State of Alabama and East Mississippi, his practice primarily involves the representation of individuals and businesses located in Greater Birmingham, Tuscaloosa and the Black Belt.
Justin represents plaintiffs in various types of cases including wrongful death, toxic exposure, products liability, eighteen wheeler trucking accidents, automobile accidents, nursing home neglect, insurance fraud and bad faith, drug and medical device litigation and work related injuries.
