
K. Scott Rocio is an Associate at Tully Rinckey PLLC, Scott concentrates his practice on federal sector Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) claims and representing employees before the United States Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB).
Prior to joining Tully Rinckey, Scott served as a law fellow for AARP Foundation Litigation within its employment discrimination section. There, he contributed to briefs filed in federal courts of appeals throughout the United States with a focus on age and disability discrimination. After completing his fellowship, Scott worked for other, small law firms where he primarily litigated employee-related claims on behalf of federal employees.
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in government from the University of Texas and his juris doctorate from the George Washington University Law School. While attending law school, Scott showed an early dedication to practicing employment law; completing extensive coursework in the areas of employment and labor law.
Scott distinguished himself by becoming a member of his law school’s Mock Trial Skills Board, representing his school at both the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section Trial Advocacy and the Estrella Trial Advocacy competitions.
