Kara Clark has practiced family law in Colorado since 2009. Before graduating from law school in 2009, Ms. Clark completed an internship with the Honorable Wiley Y. Daniel of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.
Kara joined the Bringing Justice Home Project (BJH) of Crossroads Safehouse in Fort Collins, Colorado, in 2009.
At BJH Ms. Clark provided family law representation to indigent survivors of domestic violence in Larimer, Weld, Grand, Routt, and Moffat counties.
In 2012, Ms. Clark was appointed as supervising attorney for BJH. Ms. Clark has handled a multitude of family law matters, including divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities (custody), contempt, modifiation and enforcement of past orders and protection order cases.
In 2014 BJH lost funding and Ms. Clark co-founded Liley & Clark, LLC. Liley & Clark, LLC focuses on providing representation in family law cases in Larimer and Weld Counties.
Ms. Clark believes that it is important that all members of the community have access to legal services and therefore provides a portion of her services on a sliding scale to those who qualify.
Ms. Clark is a member of the Larimer County Bar Association Modest Means Committee and works with other attorneys in the area to make affordable legal services widely available to the community.
