Kara Brasovan is an associate attorney at Ely, Bettini, Ulman, Rosenblatt & Ozer. Kara has a non-traditional, but successful, academic past that allows for a unique perspective on the cases she handles.
While in undergrad, Kara worked in a research laboratory and she was fortunate to have her research contributions published in 2012.
In 2013, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medicinal Chemistry.
Prior to accepting her invitation at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, she turned down numerous scholarship offers at various law schools all over the country.
While in law school, Kara spent one summer studying abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. In only a few short weeks, her career goals were forever changed.
Studying abroad was eye-opening and offered the amazing opportunity to meet individuals from all over the world.
It was here that Kara discovered her passion and her need to advocate for the people instead of working for a large corporation.
In December of 2015, Kara moved from Chicago, Illinois to Phoenix, Arizona in hopes of beginning her career working as an advocate for her clients.
She is proud to say that her career goal has been met as she prides herself in being an attorney at Ely, Bettini, Ulman, Rosenblatt & Ozer because she is an advocate for her clients – and for people in need.
Kara, her fiancé and their two dogs enjoy the beautiful Arizona weather and frequently hike around the Valley.
Additionally, Kara enjoys reading novels (such as thriller, historical fiction, sci-fi and memoirs) and aims to complete 100 books a year.
While she has a variety of interests outside of the office, Kara has a strong work ethic and strives to always prioritize her clients’ needs.
