Kara Noelle Noack

Kara Noack is a Colorado native with over a decade of litigation experience. Ms. Noack has successfully represented clients in a broad array of disputes. For the past several years she has focused her practice on resolving and litigating family law matters, landlord-tenant disputes and criminal defense cases.

Ms. Noack prides herself on being a strong yet compassionate advocate for her clients and in providing them the guidance and assistance they need in what are likely some of the most difficult times of their lives.

Ms. Noack is an experienced family law practitioner. She has represented parties in nearly every type of domestic relations cases and in every phase of the case, from drafting prenuptial agreements, to litigating dissolutions of marriage and highly contested allocation of parental responsibilities cases, to appeals, to litigating post-decree motions for modifications of parenting time, decision-making, child support and maintenance, to enforcing orders through contempt actions, garnishments and wage assignments.

She also has represented parties in grandparents’ rights cases and in both obtaining and defending against protection orders.

Ms. Noack is also an experienced landlord-tenant law attorney. She has given numerous presentations to attorneys, real estate professions and law enforcement personnel on landlord-tenant law in Colorado.

In her landlord-tenant practice she assists clients through a variety of disputes such as unpaid rent, noncompliance with lease terms, property damage, safety concerns and issues of habitability, early terminations and security deposit disputes.

Ms. Noack leads her clients through each step of the litigation process from negotiations and drafting agreements to eviction hearings and enforcement actions.

In her criminal defense practice Ms. Noack vigorously represents her clients throughout the entire process.

Ms. Noack has represented criminal law clients in a variety of matters including DUIs (both drug & alcohol related), traffic violations, theft, domestic violence charges, misdemeanor and felony assaults, misdemeanor and felony drug charges, Department of Revenue (DMV) Hearings and sealing criminal records.

Through her zealous representation Ms. Noack has successfully had all charges against her clients dismissed in matters such as felony assaults, violations of protection orders and unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon.

In one of her favorite criminal cases, Ms. Noack represented the client from before the time any charges were filed until all records related to the matter were sealed. She was there to visit the client in jail as soon as she was arrested and appeared at the first appearance, bond reduction hearing and pre-trial conferences.

Ms. Noack convinced the Denver District Attorney’s Office to dismiss all three charges against the client, including a class 3 felony for assault with a deadly weapon.

After succeeding in having all of the charges dismissed, Ms. Noack then successfully petitioned to the court to seal all records related to the matter, greatly assisting in her client’s future employment opportunities.

Ms. Noack received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2004. She was a member of the final Moot Court team for the University and argued in the regional conference.

She received an award from the Public Interest Student Association for the community service she performed while attending law school. Ms. Noack is a member of the Colorado Bar and the Continental Divide Bar Associations and is a member of the family law, criminal law and litigation sections.

She was admitted to practice in Colorado in 2004 and was admitted to practice in the Colorado District Court in 2005. She is an experienced litigator who has tried cases all over the state of Colorado.

Though her practice is now primarily in Eagle County handling matters in Vail, Avon, Edwards and Eagle, she has tried cases, and continues to handle matters, across the state and Denver metropolitan area in counties such as Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Jefferson, Chaffee, Grand, Lincoln, Moffat, Routt, Summit and Weld.
