Karen is an accomplished litigator with considerable experience defending businesses across industries in a wide variety of commercial disputes. She also regularly protects employers from claims brought by current and former employees, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage/hour claims, including missed meal and rest period claims.
When resolving employment disputes, Karen tailors her defense strategy to align with her client’s goals. She works toward early resolution when the employer wants to limit the impact on their productivity and resources, but can also defend cases aggressively when the situation calls for it. Karen’s clients have included entertainment companies, financial institutions, health care providers, airlines, technology companies, and more. (For information on Karen’s specific experience with litigation on behalf of media companies, please refer to her companion bio.)
