Recognizing the growing need for an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated immigration attorneys in Jacksonville, Florida, Karen opened the Law Office of Karen Winston, LLC. At the Law Office of Karen Winston, we put our clients’ needs first. Karen helps her clients navigate the complicated immigration system every step of the way.

With initial strategy sessions and frequent communication throughout the process, Karen helps her clients to try and achieve the best possible outcome for themselves and their families. Karen understands that communication and preparation are critical in successfully navigating complicated immigration cases.

Karen is committed to providing a high quality representation in all types of immigration cases including representation before any Immigration Court in the U.S., the Board of Immigration Appeals, Federal Courts, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Karen is licensed by the Supreme Court of Florida, and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Karen received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Florida Coastal School of Law.

Karen is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and currently serves as the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations liaison for the Central Florida Chapter of AILA.

Karen is a member of the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild and also serves on the state and local board for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Florida.
