Karina Sigar

Karina L. Sigar is an associate in the firm’s Lending & Structured Finance and Real Estate Finance practices. Karina’s practice represents lenders, investors, and users of commercial real estate in structuring secured and unsecured financing transactions, including working capital and acquisition loans, construction loans, revolving lines of credit, and asset-based lending transactions.

In law school, Karina served as a Note & Comment Editor at the Administrative Law Review, where her paper on crowdfunding was published, and founded a student group called the Social Enterprises Legal Society.

Prior to entering law school, Karina worked for three years at an Indonesian government agency, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, which manages and serves as the controlling shareholder of over 100 Indonesian state-owned enterprises.

Representative Matters :

• Represented a lender in connection with a $125 million term loan used to acquire a mining operation.
• Represented lenders in growth capital term loans and lines of credit to various U.S. and foreign technology companies ranging from $500,000 to $30 million.
• Represented a lender in capital call revolving lines of credit to private equity firms ranging from $500,000 to $100 million.
• Represented a lender in management fee lines of credit to management companies ranging from $400,000 to $2 million.
• Represented a lender on acquisition, construction, and permanent financing of automobile dealerships nationwide ranging from $1 million to $47 million.
