Karina Velez is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Commercial Finance practice. Her practice focuses on representing institutional clients in commercial financing transactions involving a broad range of borrowers including public and private corporations, life science and technology companies, venture capital funds, and real estate investment funds.
In law school, Karina served as an Articles Editor on the Administrative Law Review. Prior to entering law school, Karina worked at a private equity firm where she assisted with the acquisition and management of various performing and nonperforming commercial and residential mortgage loans, debt instruments, and real estate assets.
