Karol Lyn Newman is a veteran energy lawyer with experience representing clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), with a focus on entities in the natural gas industry. Her experience with FERC includes the prosecution and litigation of certificate proceedings, abandonment proceedings, rate proceedings, tariff proceedings, and enforcement proceedings.
Karol Lyn also regularly counsels her clients on regulatory requirements related to the development of interstate pipeline and storage projects, assists in strategizing the sale and acquisition of regulated assets, and supplies guidance on corporate reorganizations, restructurings, and contract realignments from a regulatory perspective.
