Kate Luarasi is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of The Private Credit Group. Kate concentrates on middle-market financing transactions and restructuring matters, including senior secured, unitranche, second lien, secured mezzanine, mezzanine, holdco, preferred stock and other forms of private credit and junior capital finance.
She has experience acting for an array of secured first- and second-lien lenders, business development companies, small business investment company funds, mezzanine lenders, debt funds and private equity funds in all types of transactions from recapitalizations to acquisitions.
Kate has represented lenders and credit providers investing in private and public companies both domestically and internationally involving various kinds of debt facilities across a wide range of industries, including software, education, healthcare, retail, franchise, financial and professional services, and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Kate worked as a trader for the Separately Managed Account Division of Anchor Capital Advisors LLC, a Boston Investment Advisor.
