Prior to attending law school, Katelin T. Moomau worked for the Maryland Independent College and University Association and Maryland General Assembly as legislative assistant to Delegate Karen S. Montgomery and in the Office of Legislative Affairs for the Maryland General Assembly.
During law school, Ms. Moomau was a law clerk at Lobel, Novins and Lamont, assisting the firm with tax, trusts and estates and general civil litigation matters. In 2008, she graduated from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
After passing the bar exam, Ms. Moomau joined the Reese Law Office where she practiced all aspects of family law. In October 2009, Ms. Moomau joined Rich Rosenthal Brincefield Manitta Dzubin & Kroeger, LLP, as a litigation associate. Ms. Moomau represents clients in the General District Courts, Circuit Courts and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts in the Northern Virginia area.
She has extensive experience in the litigation of child custody, visitation and support issues; spousal support; equitable distribution of assets and liabilities; and the negotiation and preparation of marital agreements and property settlement agreements, as well as abuse and neglect proceedings and adoptions.
Ms. Moomau also represents LGBT clients in all aspects of family law. Ms. Moomau is also a Virginia-certified Guardian Ad Litem for children. Ms. Moomau also represents clients with civil litigation matters, in General District Courts and Circuit Courts.
Ms. Moomau is on the Board of the Junior Friends of the Campagna Center and has served in that capacity as Event Donation Chair and Secretary.
