Katelyn Barbara Marie Ridenour didn’t always know that that I wanted to be an attorney. I participated in debate in high school and college, and discovered my love of research and reasoned argument.
After my completing my Bachelor of Music degree in Piano and Clarinet Performance, I attended law school at Baylor University.
When I graduated from law school, I knew I did not want to practice family law. I envisioned couples arguing over salt shakers, determined to make the other party as miserable as they were, and I wanted no part of that world.
Over the past four years, I have come to realize that there are many people searching for a family law attorney who can help them reach solutions, rather than igniting a war.
My first job was in a general practice firm, where I practiced personal injury, employment, breach of contract, and probate in addition to family law. This broad base has not only given me valuable experience in the courtroom, it also means I can spot issues in other areas that may arise during a divorce.
I work with attorneys in a variety of practice areas, including criminal defense, probate, estate planning, and personal injury to ensure that all of your legal needs are met.
In addition to traditional areas of family law, I keep up to date with novel areas of the law, including embryo donation, embryo adoption, and disputes over embryos in the context of divorce.
