Katelyn H. Seigel focuses her practice on domestic and international trademark and copyright matters, as well as advertising counseling matters. Ms. Seigel’s experience includes clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management. Ms. Seigel also has experience advising and reviewing advertising regulatory issues, promotion initiatives, and terms and conditions for contests and sweepstakes.
While attending law school, Ms. Seigel gained valuable experience interning in the business and legal affairs department at Sony Music Entertainment, interning in the general counsel’s office at Elizabeth Arden, and working as an intellectual property intern at Major League Baseball Properties. Ms. Seigel served as the Symposium Editor for the Cardozo Public Law, Policy and Ethics Journal and was a competing member of the Cardozo Alternative Dispute Resolution Team.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Seigel served as a fellow at Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts in New York City.
Ms. Seigel was recognized in 2018 as a New York “Rising Star” in the area of Intellectual Property by Super Lawyers magazine.
