Katherine (Katy), is a litigator who draws on her unique military background to help clients solve their complex legal issues. Katy represents clients in internal and government investigations, complex civil and criminal litigation and international arbitration.
Prior to joining Squire Patton Boggs in 2016, Katy served 14 years as an officer in the US Marine Corps. During her military career, she gained valuable experience as a supply officer, logistics officer, commander and leader, and lawyer. She deployed twice to Iraq and once to Afghanistan.
Katy’s final military legal assignment on active duty was as the senior Marine prosecutor for the National Capital Region. Currently, Katy is a major in Marine Corps Reserves and presently serves as the reserve base staff judge advocate for Marine Corps Base Quantico.
While in law school, Katy studied under the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, earning a litigation concentration certificate. She competed with the moot court trial and appellate teams, and was awarded the top student award for civil trial.
