Katherine Florio is a senior associate whose practice focuses on securities enforcement matters, including regulatory investigations, internal corporate investigations and criminal matters. She has represented investment banks, asset management firms, public companies and individuals before the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, self-regulatory organizations and other authorities.
Ms. Florio’s recent matters have involved a variety of government and internal investigations related to financial fraud, insider trading, money laundering, sales and trading practices, and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Florio was a judicial intern for the Honorable Kenneth M. Karas of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, an intern with the Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Section of the Department of Justice, and a clinical student at the Institute for Public Representation in the civil rights division.
