
Katherine Harihar is an intellectual property associate in the firm’s New York office. Her experience with various substantive and procedural issues, in patent prosecution and litigation, allows her to help clients navigate a wide range of intellectual property issues and intricacies.
Katherine practices in the intellectual property practice, focusing primarily on patent litigation and counseling. Her litigation experience extends to all areas of IP litigation from pre-suit diligence through discovery, trial, post-trial briefing and appeal.
Katherine has represented clients in a wide range of technology areas including mechanical devices, computer software, and pharmaceuticals. She is often heavily involved in substantive analysis and case strategy, typically developing and exploring strategic positions based on fact and expert discovery.
Katherine is also experienced in patent prosecution and has managed various patent portfolios in the U.S. and internationally. Her extensive knowledge of USPTO and foreign patent prosecution procedures allows her to provide nuanced guidance to clients in their portfolio decision-making.

- Secured favorable bench trial ruling against generic manufacturers in ANDA litigations relating to leading opioid dependence treatment product.
- Represented pilates studio against claims of patent infringement in a “rocket docket” schedule.
