Katherine T. Mccarthy is an associate in the New York office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she is a member of the firm’s exports and national security practices. Her practice focuses on government and internal investigations, national security reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), and other regulatory proceedings, as well as white collar criminal defense.
She has significant experience representing clients in all aspects of regulatory and white collar proceedings, as well as counseling clients on national security issues related to cross-border transactions. Kate devotes a significant portion of her time to providing pro bono services to indigent criminal defendants and has received recognition from the firm for her pro bono work.
Prior to joining the firm, Kate clerked for Chairman Deanna Tanner Okun of the United States International Trade Commission (ITC).
