Katherine Palumbo

Kathy Palumbo is a member of the firm’s Real Estate, Financial Services and Corporate practice groups. Her practice includes a wide range of sophisticated real estate and commercial transactional matters, with emphasis on drafting and negotiating documentation for complex transactions.

She has assisted both purchasers and sellers in the acquisition or sale of commercial real estate properties in Maryland and the District of Columbia and has represented lenders and borrowers in conjunction with real estate and asset-based financing, including refinancing, construction loans and construction/permit loans, among other things.

Kathy also represents both tenants and landlords in the structuring, documenting and negotiating commercial leases, including office, retail and flex-space.

Kathy provides her clients with sophisticated representation and excellent service. She is skillful in coordinating all of the moving pieces in transactions, on the loan side of her practice as well as the business transactions. Her organization and attention to detail are her strongest assets.

While Kathy’s practice is primarily focused in the real estate and financing areas, she has extensive experience in corporate transactions. She has assisted with numerous sales and purchases of businesses through both stock and asset transactions. She also works closely with companies who are passing their business on to the next generation, to train them on what legal issues they should look out for.
