
Kate Mylod is a finance and real estate attorney practicing in the areas of equity investment and joint venture formation; mortgage and mezzanine debt origination; intercreditor, co-lender and participation arrangements; preferred equity financing; repurchase/warehouse facilities; real property acquisition, disposition and asset management; secondary market acquisition and sales; and loan restructurings, workouts and enforcement actions.
She works with a variety of real estate asset classes, including hospitality, retail, multifamily, office and condominium.
Kate represents investors with respect to acquisition and development joint ventures, as well as investments through secondary market transactions.She regularly negotiates and facilitates loan originations, workouts and restructurings for both lenders and borrowers.
Her clients include private equity and sovereign wealth funds, investment and commercial banks and insurance companies.Previously, Kate practiced with Dechert LLP.
She also served as in-house investment law counsel with a large financial services company, where she handled private placement, private equity and mezzanine financing investments.
