Katie Rosenberger

Katie L. Rosenberger is an associate at Moreno & Villarrubia LLP where she focuses her practice in Family Law, and Immigration and Nationality Law. She is a member of the Family Law and Immigration and Global Mobility Practice Groups.

Ms. Rosenberger concentrates her Family Law practice in Divorce, Custody and Parenting Time, Paternity, Child Support, Protective Orders, Mediation, and serving as a Guardian ad Litem. She prides herself on providing sensitive and unique solutions for families going through some of the most difficult times in their lives.

Ms. Rosenberger also has extensive experience_guiding clients through the complex and increasingly changing processes of Spousal Petitions, Family Petitions, Waivers, Provisional Waivers, Consular Processing, Adjustments of Status, Residency renewals, Naturalization and Deferred Action.

She also has a vast amount of experience assisting victims of serious crimes and victims of domestic violence in obtaining non-immigrant visas such as the U Visa and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions. Katie also represents clients who are in removal proceedings in obtaining relief from deportation.

Ms. Rosenberger has tapped into her life-long passion for public service in her private practice by delivering a thoughtful and personalized experience to clients from a wide variety of backgrounds. Ms. Rosenberger is fluent in Spanish, which allows her to work with a diverse clientele.

Ms. Rosenberger received her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis where she graduated cum laude with a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Studies from Indiana University Bloomington, graduating magna cum laude.

Ms. Rosenberger spent a year abroad in Madrid, Spain mastering her linguistic skills where she took two full-time semesters of University classes entirely in Spanish, and taught English to Spanish-speaking children.

Ms. Rosenberger has a continuing role with the Indianapolis chapter of Equal Justice Works by serving on the host committee for the organization’s annual pro bono dinner to raise funds for the Loan Repayment Assistance Program Endowment. She is very active in her community, serving on the leadership team of Hawthorne Neighborhood Association, part of the Near West Collaborative. She is particularly enthusiastic about neighborhood beautification and engaging Spanish-speaking residents.
