Katy Beth Carr is a shareholder in the Florence, Alabama office of Carr Allison where her practice focuses on general litigation matters. Katy Beth defends employers throughout north Alabama and Tennessee in workers’ compensation cases. Her diversified practice also includes the representation of clients in the areas of transportation, premises liability and insurance defense.
Katy Beth is admitted to practice in all state courts in Alabama and Tennessee. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, as well as the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of Tennessee. Katy Beth is experienced in litigation and has successfully obtained summary judgment on behalf of her clients.
Katy Beth earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Birmingham-Southern College, receiving a distinction in leadership studies. She earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL).
In addition to her legal work, Katy Beth is actively involved in the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and locally with the Lauderdale County Bar Association and the Junior League of the Shoals. She serves on the Board of Directors, District I for ADLA’s Young Lawyers’ Section.
