Keith A. Goodwin is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the firm’s San Diego office. Mr. Goodwin’s practice focuses on representing employers before state and federal courts, arbitral tribunals, and administrative agencies in a wide variety of employment litigation matters, including trade secret misappropriation; discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful discharge claims; and both single plaintiff and class action wage and hour lawsuits.
His experience includes representing public, private, and non-profit employers in an array of industries, including the telecommunications, healthcare, medical devices, media and marketing, management consulting, banking, financial services, entertainment, and retail industries.
Mr. Goodwin was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia Law School, where he served as Notes Editor for the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law and published the Note “Protecting Architectural Forms as Traditional Cultural Expression? Why WIPO Should Go Back to the Drafting Table.”
While in law school, Mr. Goodwin externed for Judge Debra A. Livingston of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and for the New York City Law Department’s Labor and Employment Law Division. Mr. Goodwin also interned for the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorneys’ Office for the Southern District of California.
