Keith Howell’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation at the trial and appellate levels. He has represented clients in patent disputes involving a variety of technologies, including bio pharmaceuticals, medical devices and mobile banking.
In addition to intellectual property law, Mr. Howell has experience in complex investigations. Mr. Howell’s pro bono practice focuses on immigration law.
Mr. Howell previously worked as a summer associate at WilmerHale. While in law school, he worked as a judicial intern for Associate Judge Heidi M. Pasichow in the DC Superior Court and as a research assistant for the Supreme Court Institute, where he researched cases pending before the US Supreme Court.
Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Howell interned in the Civil Rights Division of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and in the Washington, DC office of Senator Jon Kyl.
While attending law school, Mr. Howell worked as a certified student attorney in Georgetown’s Domestic Violence Clinic, where he secured civil protection orders for clients experiencing domestic abuse.
He previously volunteered at the Workers’ Rights Clinic at the Employment Justice Center, serving as a liaison between attorneys and clients seeking legal advice about a variety of employment law issues.
