Keith S Brais is the founding partner at Brais Law Firm with nearly 30 years of trial experience. Keith is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Florida and Massachusetts, and the federal Courts of Texas.
He concentrates his practice solely on personal injury and wrongful death involving premise liability, negligent security, medical malpractice, product liability and marine travel and employment claims.
Ironically, even before Keith began his legal career he was called upon to testify in two oil field personal injury claims involving co-workers injured while working aboard offshore drilling platforms.
After working offshore for nearly seven years, Keith suffered a career ending injury but never forgot the oftentimes dangerous conditions involved with marine offshore employment.
Keith started his career as a maritime law attorney, regularly handling complex marine travel and employment injuries claims. He earned his Florida Bar Board Certification in maritime and admiralty law.
Because of his Bachelor of Science degree and work experience in marine engineering, Keith understands the science behind crucial case evidence. He can read data and speak the language in cases involving complex products cases.
Before focusing on helping personal injury plaintiffs and loved ones left behind after wrongful death, Keith represented major resort and travel related corporations insured by domestic and overseas insurance companies in personal injury claims, providing him keen insight into defense tactics.
