Kelly A. Trahan is counsel in the firm’s Business and Finance and Real Estate groups. She represents clients in the areas of commercial real estate, commercial financing and general corporate matters.
She has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial financing and represents national and community banks, insurance companies, pension funds and other lending institutions in structuring and closing complex commercial real estate-based and asset-based financing transactions, including term and construction loan facilities, revolving credit facilities, state and federal tax credit financings, loan sales, participations, co-lending transactions and other types of credit facilities.
She has experience in representing lenders in connection with financing for renewable energy projects and U.S. and international investments in natural resource assets, including timber.
She also has extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions, including complex acquisitions and dispositions, sale-leaseback transactions, development and leasing.
Prior to joining the firm, Kelly worked at a large international law firm. She also has experience representing life insurance companies and pension funds in making U.S. and international investments.
