
Kelly B. D’Auria has represented some of the largest manufacturers of automobiles, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, sporting goods and apparel as well as retailers. Kelly often serves as settlement counsel, as well as local, regional and national coordinating counsel for various clients in various mass-tort actions, multi-district litigations and consumer class actions.
Kelly is also national coordinating counsel for one of the leading manufacturers of protective wear and safety equipment. In that role, Kelly develops and coordinates the overall litigation strategy and budget management of the national toxic tort docket.
She oversees all layers of the litigation, from the day to day litigation, to expert defense, trial themes and trial work-up. Kelly has worked closely with local counsel to improve results for clients in the toxic tort realm, focusing largely on efficient and effective case and docket management. Previously, Kelly served mass/toxic tort clients in a local capacity as the frontline litigator, drafting all pleadings, motions and discovery and taking necessary depositions.
She has also served as regional counsel; acting as primary attorney responsible for several asbestos dockets throughout the northeast and assisted in coordination and management of an asbestos docket for a for a global pharmaceutical manufacturer in its national asbestos litigation, advising on the manufacturers premises and successor liabilities in the asbestos contexts as well.
