As a former in-house counsel for a nationwide retailer, Ken Mallernee brings extensive practical and strategic business experience to the representation of his clients and a thorough understanding of the retail real estate industry.
Mr. Mallernee also works with local restaurant operators and franchisees of national restaurant chains in the leasing, purchase and sale of business assets and real property. Mr. Mallernee’s clients in office leasing cover a wide spectrum of industries and sizes, and he has negotiated leases and subleases for office locations throughout metro Atlanta and across the country.
In addition, his leasing practice includes warehouse/industrial locations, and specialty leases such as airports and solar farms.
At Taylor English, Mr. Mallernee focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate. He represents clients in the acquisition and development of real estate for retail, restaurant, office and industrial purposes, and in sale-leaseback, ground leasing, build-to-suit and rebuild situations.
In his acquisition and development practice, Mr. Mallernee performs title, survey and site plan review, real estate closings, and loan modifications and closings.
He also advises clients in residential real estate matters, including those involving condominiums and homeowners associations.
