Kenesia L. Cook focuses her practice on trademark and copyright law. She divides her practice between trademark prosecution, enforcement, and litigation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She has counseled major companies on large-scale clearance projects, both internationally and domestically, and has represented companies seeking to protect their trademark registrations before the Board.
Kenesia worked as a summer associate with the firm in 2016. While attending law school, she served as a student attorney in the George Washington University Small Business and Community Economic Development Clinic where she served various small business clients. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Beryl A. Howell in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C. Kenesia was also a member of the George Washington Law Reviewand an active member of the George Washington Black Law Students Association.
Before launching her legal career, Kenesia was a middle school teacher for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools in Nashville, Tennessee.
