Kenisha D. Nicholson is counsel in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she works with private and public companies at all stages of growth, in addition to representing venture capital firms in private company financings and investment banks in public offerings.
Kenisha’s practice focuses on corporate and securities law (including general corporate representation), public offerings, public and private mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital financings. She also counsels public companies on public disclosures and compliance with SEC and exchange rules.
From 2010 to 2016, Kenisha was an associate in WSGR’s Washington, D.C., office. Prior to rejoining the firm, she was a member of the legal group at Accenture, where she advised on corporate governance best practices, NYSE and SEC compliance, and proxy advisory firm policies.
While at Accenture, Kenisha also assisted with corporate secretarial duties, including drafting meeting and committee minutes and resolutions, preparing presentations to the board of directors, and other matters related to the board of directors.
