Mr. Kenneth C. Jones represents clients in business planning, entity formation, governance and dissolution of corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, strategic alliances, and other business entities and arrangements, and in mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, purchases and sales of numerous types of business and business entities.
His clients include e-commerce, manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, retail and service businesses, ranging from start-ups and serial entrepreneurs to mid-size and publicly-traded companies.
He advises employers and executives in employment, consulting, compensation and severance matters. Mr. Jones also represents clients in license, franchise, and distributorship arrangements, and in a wide variety of other commercial transactions.
Mr. Jones advises and represents landowners, investors, developers, property managers, home builders, and commercial landlords and tenants in a wide range of real estate areas.
He specializes in due diligence, acquisition, construction, development, management, leasing and sale transactions involving commercial, industrial, office, hotel and hospitality, master planned, mixed-use, multi-family, golf course, healthcare and unimproved properties, as well as real estate owned by financial institutions and governmental entities.
He also represents public and private lenders and borrowers in all phases of secured and unsecured commercial lending, having negotiated, documented and closed over $2 billion in loan transactions.
Mr. Jones is a member of the San Diego Commercial Real Estate Group and the Strategic Trusted Advisors Roundtable (STAR), and is active in the Association for Corporate Growth.
He previously served on the Housing Committee of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and Membership Committee of the San Diego Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
He is a frequent speaker to business, professional and service groups on a variety of real estate, business and finance law topics.
