Kenneth William Wieland came to the Law a little later in life. Prior to graduating from UCONN Law School, where I won numerous awards for academic excellence, I had a varied career including farmer, carpenter, town planner and IT manager. This breadth of experience enables me to understand and relate to people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances.
After law school, I decided to focus on family law. While family law is very challenging, it also provides an opportunity to make a genuine difference in peoples’ lives. Family law includes issues related to divorce, separation, alimony, child custody and support, visitation arrangements, and pre-marital agreements. My experience includes representing clients in both Superior and Probate Court.
My clients are not merely a voice on the phone, an email or a monthly invoice. They are my priority and as such, can count on me to be a committed, focused, and accessible advocate during a very challenging time.
I am also very dedicated to providing legal assistance to those who would not otherwise be able to afford it. I have provided numerous pro-bono hours to The Connecticut Veterans Law Center and the Connecticut Statewide Legal Services. I am also a cooperating attorney with the Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund.
I am a member of the Connecticut Bar Association as well as the Family Law sections of the Connecticut, Hartford County, and Litchfield County Bar Associations.
