As an assistant attorney general in the Georgia Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, Kevin investigated and prosecuted state and national False Claims Act healthcare fraud cases. His experience also ranges from hot-topic areas of interest such as immigrants’ rights in education to niche areas of law such as the extraordinary writ of mandamus.

- Lead counsel for the State of Georgia in civil action against a laboratory company accused of violating the Anti-Kickback Statute and causing the ordering of medically unnecessary lab tests.
- Counsel for Georgia Professional Standards Commission in civil prosecution of DeKalb County educators accused of widespread cheating on 2009 CRCT standardized testing.
- As lead counsel, successfully defended a Fulton County Superior Court judge’s trial ruling by achieving a dismissal of mandamus action and affirmance in the Georgia Supreme Court.
