
Kevin C. Kelly is an associate in Mayer Brown’s New York Office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. His practice includes representing financial institutions and businesses in complex commercial litigation in both state and federal courts.
Kevin represents securitization trustees in residential mortgage-backed securities matters, corporations and board members in federal securities class actions and shareholder derivative suits, and banks in copyright infringement litigation.
Kevin maintains an active pro bono practice where he represents individuals in fair housing cases in state court. Kevin received The Legal Aid Society’s Pro Bono Publico Award for outstanding service in both 2016 and 2017 in recognition of his work in this area. Kevin currently serves on the Legal Aid Society’s New Leadership Program’s Board of Directors.
Kevin joined Mayer Brown in 2014 after earning his JD from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was an editor on the Journal of Law Reform. Before graduating from law school, Kevin worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Michael Erdos of the Pennsylvania Courts of Common Pleas, Criminal Trial Division and represented families with the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic.
