Kevin Lake is an Associate in the Denver office of King & Spalding and a member of the Trial Practice and Global Disputes Practice Group. Kevin has represented a diverse portfolio of clients in all phases of commercial and intellectual property litigation, from pre-filing diligence through trial and appeal before numerous federal district courts, the International Trade Commission, the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
He represents both established players and disruptive startups across a wide range of varied technological fields, including power grid distribution solutions, biomedical devices, mobile device data synchronization, distributed storage systems, automated telephone services, computer personalization software, cold weather gear, cybersecurity software and hardware, telecommunications and online lead generation.
Before joining King & Spalding, Kevin served as a term law clerk to the Honorable Paul C. Huck of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Kevin also assisted Judge Huck while he sat by designation on the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Eleventh Circuit. He is a graduate of the Harvard Law School, where he served as President of Harvard Defenders, a general board member of the Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review, and an articles committee member of the Harvard Journal on Legislation.
