Kim A. Purcell has nearly 15 years of experience handling complex business and tort litigation matters, with an emphasis on large product liability cases. Kim has first-chair trial experience and has worked extensively on all aspects of trial preparation, including fact and expert witness development, cross- and direct examinations, pretrial and post-trial motions, trial exhibit preparation, and appellate briefing and oral argument.
Kim’s significant litigation experiences include representation of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in numerous personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits brought in state and federal courts throughout the Southeast.
She is currently a member of a Jones Day team that defends Laboratory Corporation of America in medical negligence litigation across the country related to Pap smears and other laboratory testing.
Kim is active in the community, serving on the board of directors of a small nonprofit. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and has been a member of a local chapter of the American Inns of Court.
