Kimberly Li is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Patent Law and Intellectual Property Groups. Her litigation experience includes assisting clients in the enforcement of patent rights in disputes in federal court and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
She has also performed freedom-to-operate, infringement and patentability analyses for matters for a broad range of technologies, including semiconductor processing equipment and techniques, plasma torch technologies, optical medical devices and physiological measurement systems.
Kimberly is also registered to practice before the USPTO, and has worked on prosecution matters involving mechanical and electromechanical inventions.
Before joining Proskauer, Kimberly received her bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Her former work experience includes a broad range of technological areas, including front-end web development, aerospace software simulation and modeling tools, smart building systems and image recognition software.
