Kimberly Winnubst focuses her practice on foreclosure, bankruptcy and insurance defense litigation. She handles a variety of matters, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, consumer fraud, commercial paper matters, conversion and equitable relief.
Kimberly has experience assisting lending institutions and analyzing a plethora of legal documents, ranging from mortgage statements to tax code to federal regulations, to determine lender’s and borrower’s rights. She also reviews and files Proof of Claims (POC) in bankruptcy matters and helps clients to achieve their longterm business goals through innovative litigation tactics.
Prior to joining Fox, Kimberly was an attorney at a foreclosure law firm in Dallas. She also worked at a law firm in Bedford, Texas. During law school, she worked as a law clerk for a criminal defense firm located in Dallas. Kimberly also served as a law scholar for LawProse, Inc. under Professor Bryan Garner and participated in the SMU Criminal Defense Clinic.
She was a staff editor for the SMU International Law Review Association. In addition, Kimberly was a legal intern for the Federal Trade Commission and to the Honorable Carl Ginsberg of the 193rd Civil District Court.
