Koh Tanimoto is an associate and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Koh practices general corporate and business law with an emphasis in mergers and acquisitions transactions, public and private debt offerings, securities law compliance, corporate reorganizations, and general corporate counseling.
Koh is a member of the firm’s Transactions Practice.Prior to joining Foley, Koh served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia, where he worked with community-based schools and a Zambian sports-focused non-governmental organization.
He also worked as an extern with the University of Notre Dame Office of General Counsel, a judicial intern at the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Barbara, and an intern with Major League Baseball International in Tokyo, Japan.
Koh earned his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2016), where he was notes editor for the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law.
He received his Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in sport management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his Bachelor of Science in animal physiology and neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego.
