Kristen Truver is a senior associate in the Real Estate Finance & Investment Group experienced in structured finance, including all aspects of commercial and residential mortgage-backed securitizations.
Although her practice primarily focuses on commercial mortgage-backed securitizations (CMBS), including multiseller conduit, single-borrower, floating rate and small balance transactions, and resecuritizations, she has experience in single-family rental securitizations, multifamily securitizations backed by Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and, most recently, commercial real estate collateralized loan obligation transactions.
Kristen regularly represents all main participants in mortgage-backed securitizations, including issuers, underwriters, loan sellers, collateral managers and a nationally recognized statistical rating agency organization.
Kristen has advised issuers and underwriters in the securitization of various asset-backed securitizations, including triple net-leases, equipment leases, aircraft leases, personal unsecured loans and SBA loans. Kristen also has experience in securities regulation and arbitration and derivatives law.
Kristen graduated magna cum laude from Hofstra University School of Law with a concentration in corporate and securities law and received the Corporate and Securities and Securities Arbitration Graduate Awards.
