Kristen Lommele Festin practices exclusively in the area of immigration and nationality law. Her practice includes both immigrant and nonimmigrant representation, with substantial time spent on obtaining permanent residence for outstanding researchers, multinational managers, and professionals.
Kristen’s clients include companies in a variety of industries, including technology, scientific research, and manufacturing.
Prior to joining the firm, Kristen worked at a firm that focused on family immigration, consular representation, and deportation defense. She also has experience with business immigration, immigration policy, and legal services, including asylum, VAWA, and U nonimmigrant visas.
Kristen works pro bono having volunteered as the Supervising Attorney for a project with the South Texas Pro Bono Asylum Representation Project (ProBAR) in Harlingen, Texas. She also drafted a Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) appeal brief for an asylum case with ProBAR, volunteered in Arizona and Mexico with No More Deaths, a humanitarian aid organization, and participates in Fragomen’s pro bono efforts in Chicago through the National Immigrant Justice Center.
