Kristin P. Housh is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm’s San Diego (Del Mar) office. Ms. Housh handles a variety of complex litigation matters, including:
- high-stakes contractual disputes
- false Claims Act qui tam actions
- government and internal investigations
- securities fraud lawsuits.
Ms. Housh also has significant pro bono experience including obtaining a reversal of summary judgment in an appeal before the Ninth Circuit on behalf of an incarcerated client denied constitutionally adequate medical care and bringing a class action lawsuit on behalf of individuals who were denied access to the asylum process in violation of United States immigration laws.
Ms. Housh is active in the San Diego community and is dedicated to public service and promoting diversity. She sits on the advisory board for the American Bar Association’s Immigration Justice Project, is a member of the host committee for Equality California’s annual fundraising event, and is a member of Lawyers Club of San Diego.
While in law school, Ms. Housh served as a law clerk at the Williamson County Attorney’s Office in Georgetown, Texas, where she prosecuted misdemeanor criminal cases in both jury and bench trials.
