Kristin Toretta Lee is a member of the global cybersecurity practice in Baker McKenzie’s Washington, DC office. Prior to joining the Firm, she advised the US Department of the Treasury on cybersecurity policy and regulatory oversight related to illicit criminal and terrorist activities.
In this capacity, she focused on building strategies and utilizing financial authorities such as sanctions, the USA PATRIOT Act and the Bank Secrecy Act to protect the domestic and international financial systems.
Kristin worked with all elements of the national security and regulatory communities, the private sector and foreign governments to build partnerships, bolster legal frameworks and combat threats.
Ms. Lee supports cybersecurity matters focused on financial institutions, risk assessments, and complex cyber operations and services. She advises on federal regulatory oversight as well as information governance.
