Kwaku Osebreh concentrates his practice in corporate and securities matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, and corporate governance matters. Kwaku assists public and private companies in their capital-raising activities, including public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities.
Additionally, Kwaku counsels start-up and early stage companies as they navigate issues of entity formation, voting and share agreements, and funding.
Having earned an MBA prior to law school, Kwaku applies a deep understanding of business strategy to better understand and address client challenges and opportunities. As a former business intelligence analyst, Kwaku brings an analytical and pragmatic approach to legal issues as he helps clients achieve their strategic goals
Kwaku maintains an active pro bono practice. He serves as a neutral mediator for pro se litigants in Cook County courthouses through the Center for Conflict Resolution. Kwaku also provides pro bono counseling for nonprofits as they navigate various legal matters.
